Via the motorway Westautobahn A1
(from Germany, Salzburg, Linz)
Drive on the motorway Westautobahn A1 in the direction of Vienna. Leave at the exit "Wientalstraße". Follow directions for Wien Zentrum along the B1. The street you are driving on changes its name several times from Wientalstraße to Hietzinger Kai, Wiener Straße and finally Schönbrunner Schlossstraße. You will come to Schönbrunn Palace and just need to go straight on. Leave the Schönbrunner Schlossstraße at house number 56 on the left into Rednergasse. You're still on B1 to the city centre. The Street follows the river Wien and is called Rechte Wienzeile. You will come along the Naschmarkt and should keep left from here on. At Karlsplatz you have to leave to the left and go on in the direction of St. Stephen's Cathedral. Before you are at the opera house you have to turn left into Ringstraße. Follow the boulevard around the historic city centre. Change to the right lane and pass Schwedenplatz, then turn right into Postgasse, and you will be at Pension Dr. Geissler!
Via the motorway Südautobahn A2
(from Italy, Slovenia, Graz)
Drive on the motorway in the direction of Wien Zentrum. Go on A23 (Südosttangente) in direction Flughafen/Prag and leave at the exit “Zentrum”. Follow Schüttelstraße for about 4 km. On the left hand side you will see the Donaukanal, turn left to Salztorbrücke and turn left again after the bridge on Franz-Josefs-Kai. Change to the right lane and pass Schwedenplatz. Another right turn into Postgasse and you will be at Pension Dr. Geissler!
Via the motorway Ostautobahn A4
(from Hungary/Airport)
Drive on the motorway and leave at the exit „Wien Zentrum“. Follow Schüttelstraße for about 4 km. Left hand side you will see the Donaukanal, turn left to Salztorbrücke and turn left again after the bridge on Franz-Josefs-Kai. Change to the right lane and pass Schwedenplatz. Another right turn into Postgasse and you will be at Pension Dr. Geissler!
